德永英明 『最後の言い訳』”Saigo no iiwake” by Hideaki Tokunaga
This is a fairly famous song around Asia. It was released on Tokunaga’s 1989 album “Realize”. The song became a hit in the Philippines when translated in to tagalog. It is known there as “Ikaw pa rin” by Ted Ito.

I always liked this sing song a lot. Instead of playing a second verse, I turned it into a bit of a solo section and just improvised. This was a fun cover to make.
