OVERVIEW

To those uninitiated, let me introduce Professor Satchafunkilus. He is one of the most intriguing and original solo guitarists in the world. Satriani has pushed the envelopes of guitar playing for over two decades and shows no signs of slowing down. He has also taught some of the most influential guitarists of the last two decades. Two of his students come to mind instantly: Kirk Hammet (Metallica) and Steve Vai (guitar genius).

This is his latest offering as a solo artist. He is currently touring with his band Chickenfoot. (See our Chickenfoot review as well.)

On a serious note though, Mr. Satriani has managed to deliver an amazing sonic journey again with this album. We dig it and hope you do too!
