Covering Lisa Loeb’s “I Do”
I was originally planning to cover something totally different this week, but then remembered this song.
I always liked this song. It has just the right combination of retro and modern which makes it timeless.
This song used to be one of my “warm up” songs before a practice session when I was a bass student at Berklee. If memory serves me correctly, the original bass player on the song is Lee Sklar. The bass lines on the original are fantastic. I tried to keep as close to the original on this version.
