REVIEW OVERVIEW:
I was recently introduced to the music of Tsunami Bomb through a friend. I’m sad to discover that the band broke up in 2005 as this music is quite catchy and nice. This review is of their last album.
What I most like about this band is the lead vocals. I really feel that Agent M’s vocals are yet to be discovered by the masses.
I really wish that the production quality of this album was better.
UPDATE 2016: The band reunited in 2015 and they are active again.

Track 1 – Dawn On A Funeral Day
Catchy, poppy, punky, awesome guitar parts.
Track 2 – Being Alright
More punk than the opening track. Still catchy.
Track 3 – 5150
[As a side note: 5150 is a code that means Involuntary Psychiatric Hold.]
This is one of the few TB songs I don’t like. I don’t know why.
Track 4 – Safety Song
Super catchy and upbeat.
Track 5 – I Brought You
Cool riff. This didn’t sound like it was mixed the same way as the other songs up to this point. Bummer. I think it would sound a lot better if it was mixed like the other songs.
Track 6 – 4 Robots And An Evil Scientist
This could almost qualify as a metal song. \m/
Track 7 – A Lonely Chord
When I read the title, I said: “uh-oh, not a one chord song ballad”. I am happy to report that this is not a one chord song. It’s actually a very nice “punk” ballad. Very nice pop sensibilities here.
Track 8 – Epic
Cool track.
Track 9 – Negative One To Ten
Fast! Uptempo! Poppy.
Track 10 – My Machete
Fast. Uptempo. Punk.
Track 11 – Tetanus Shot
I like the energy in this song and the dynamics.
Track 12 – Jigsaw
I love the groove. Not what I would expect to find on a “punk” album.
