OVERVIEW

Retribution is the sixth studio album for Shadows Fall and it does not fall short of any expectations. Retribution a solid album with solid musicianship and writing.

Kudos! Definitely worth picking up as it packs quite the punch.

HIGHLIGHTS : 

The Path of Imminent Ruin, Still I Rise, King of Nothing

Track 1 – The Path of Imminent Ruin
What a pretty acoustic instrumental track! 

Track 2 – My Demise
Very cool track. 

Track 3 – Still I Rise
Nice!

Track 4 – War
Really fast. Whoa!

Track 5 – King of Nothing
Brutal! Loved it.

Track 6 – The Taste of Fear
Catchy. Cool track.

Track 7 – Embrace Annihilation
Interesting track.

Track 8 – Picture Perfect
There are some very pretty, mellow, moments in this track. Cool track. Catchy.

Track 9 – A Public Excecution
Perhaps, my least favorite track on the CD.

Track 10 – Dead and Gone
