Artist: Lady Gaga
Album: The Fame (2008 Streamline/Kon Live /Interscope/Cherrytree)
Tracks: 13

OVERVIEW:

This is the debut album of Lady Gaga. This was far from impressing us. It just goes to show that the mainstream public does not care if they listen to music that is well made or if they are buying a product.

While we will say that the production standards are high on this release we did not think highly of the music. Lady Gaga = flavor of the month. This music will not be studied 50 years from now. Music like this has been done by many people and it has been done better.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Again Again, Boys Boys Boys, Brown Eyes

PLAY BY PLAY

Track 1 – Just Dance (Featuring Colby Odonis)
Medium tempo pop/dance song. Average.

Track 2 – LoveGame
Annoying

Track 3 – Paparazzi
Madonna did this two decades ago and did it better.

(Note this is not a Madonna song but Madonna did this kind of music 20 years ago and did it better.)

Track 4 – Beautiful, Dirty, Rich
Ok, this was catchy and interesting.

Track 5 – Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)
Good melody.

Track 6 – Poker Face
Annoying and monotonous.

Track 7 – The Fame
Good riff but really annoying melodies.

Track 8 – Money Honey
Reminds me of a Salt n’ Peppa song released over 20 years ago.

Track 9 – Again Again
Bravo! This was good.

Track 10 – Boys Boys Boys
Catchy.

Track 11 – Brown Eyes
Pretty melody and good changes.

Track 12 –Summerboy
Cute.

Track 13 – I Like It Rough
Meh.
