OVERVIEW

This is the fourth studio album of American ambient rockers Kings Of Leon. This is yet another band I had not heard anything from prior to sitting down to review this record. Everything is quite simple, but played well. The vocal work is good. For the most part though, this album was just way too mellow for my liking. Stylistically, I think the repetitiveness within the genre’s style is what is keeping me from really embracing this and say: “Yes, I really dig this!”
