OVERVIEW

Mr. King is a man who needs no introduction. This is an absolutely wonderful album. It never ceases to amaze me just how many ways Mr. King can play the blues.

HIGHLIGHTS :

Waiting for Your Call, Midnight Blues, Tomorrow Night

PLAY BY PLAY

Track 1 – See That My Grave Is Kept Clean
Soulful. Almost a gospel song. The title of the album also comes from this song.

Track 2 – I Get So Weary
Great blues track.

Track 3 – Get These Blues Off Me
The vocal track is very emotional! Wow!

Track 4 – How Many More Years
I love uptempo tracks that Mr. King does. The lyrics in this particular one are quite entertaining.

Track 5 – Waiting for Your Call
Wow!

Track 6 – My Love Is Down
Great.

Track 7 – The World Is Gone Wrong
A soft shuffle with the power of Mr. King’s vocals and a horn section.

Track 8 – Blues Before Sunrise
Quite nice.

Track 9 – Midnight Blues
Lots of advice here for different people about how to avoid the midnight blues.

Track 10 – Backwater Blues
Cool.

Track 11 – Sitting on Top of the World
I really liked this one.

Track 12 – Tomorrow Night
Sublime.
