OVERVIEW:

This is a stellar pop/rock album! Beautiful songwriting chops coupled with great musicianship. Paul Gilbert is of course known for his absolutely mind boggling guitar skills, but he’s an incredibly gifted songwriter. Freddie Nelson’s vocals are very classy. This is an album for people who appreciate light hearted pop/rock songs. We really liked it and we’ll be listening to a lot more of this album in the future.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Waste Of Time and The Answer

PLAY BY PLAY

Track 1 – Paris Hilton Look-alike
Cool tune. It has a big broadway sound.

Track 2 – Waste Of Time
Very nice!

Track 3 – The Last Rock And Roll Star
This is one of the heavier tracks on the album. It kinda sounds a little like Racer X at the start.

Track 4 – The Answer
Very nice acoustic intro! Very nice melodies.

Track 5 – Bad Times Good
This has an experimental Beatles vibe to it. Very cool.

Track 6 – Hideaway
We didn’t really care for this track.

Track 7 – I’m Free
Not bad.

Track 8 – Pulsar
We really dig the phrasing in this song. Cool riff!

Track 9 – Girl From Omaha
Not bad. Fun song. Really good vocal production.

Track 10 – I’m Not Addicted
Really fun song! We liked this.
