OVERVIEW
This is a review of a collection of 5 song excerpts by a new German band called Revolving Door. Unfortunately, they did not provide us with full length tracks to review. The main style is modern rock. They formed in 2006 and aim to complete their debut album this year (2009).
On to the review of the music. I found that the majority of what I heard to be radio friendly. The songs are predictable in the sense that the marketplace is flooded by acts who make this kind of music. It is only fair since this is what is currently popular. The quality of the recording was good. I don’t see why these guys could not make it big. Kudos! I’d like to hear the debut album when it drops!

Track 1 – Belongs To You
This track sounds like it could be a quick hit. It is very radio friendly from what I could tell.
Track 2 – Try To Change Me
Very radio friendly again.
Track 3 – Insane Jealousy
The management team sent me a track labeled track 3 but this was the same snippet as track 2. (I really think this management team needs to get their act together.) I had to listen to the sample on mp3.de to hear this track.
Mellow but powerful. Cool track.
Track 4 – Hey You
See my remarks to track 3. It’s the same story with the mislabeling.
Track 5 – Goodbye
Really good vocal work on this one! The energy is great on this track. (From the little that I could tell)
