OVERVIEW

This is the freshman effort from country group Gloriana. The band was founded in 2008 and is made up of brothers Mike and Tom Gossin; Cheyenne Kimball, and Rachel Reinert. This album is definitely “modern” country. Very young and energetic. The vocals are very good. Compositionally, it’s nice, but not very advanced. There were some moments I found annoyingly repetitive.

The whole album is just over 45 minutes long. Overall, it’s a nice effort.

HIGHLIGHTS :

How Far Do You Wanna Go?, Lead Me On, You Said

PLAY BY PLAY

Track 1 – How Far Do You Wanna Go?
Cool opening track. Definitely gets one revved up.

Track 2 – Wild At Heart
Cool track.

Track 3 – The Way It Goes
I couldn’t get into this track.

Track 4 – Lead Me On
Stylistically, this track was a surprise. Great track. It’s a mellow track that is more ambient pop than country.

Track 5 –  If You’re Leavin’
Nice song.

Track 6 – You Said
I really like this track.

Track 7 – Cry On Command
A mellow track that gets really repetitive in the end in the annoying way.

Track 8 – Over Me Now
Nice feel.

Track 9 – Come And Save Me
I didn’t dig this track.

Track 10 – Even If I Wanted To
Cool track. More of a rock feel.

Track 11 – All The Things That Mean The Most
I couldn’t really get into this track either.

Track 12 – Change Your Mind
Nice mellow track.

Track 13 – Time To Let Me Go
Very “country”. Mellow and sad. Not bad.
